If you’ve loved our coverage of Europe’s first mega K-Pop festival, KPOP.FLEX, you’ll be thrilled to know that the event celebrating the incredible genre that is K-Pop will return: and this time, it will also take place in London!
Taking place over 3 exciting nights at the O2, the event will offer fans a variety of activities and experiences of Korean culture, as well as concerts with a stellar K-pop idol line-up. The o2 is known for hosting over 400 events per year, and its stage has held some of the biggest names in music and entertainment. With over 100 million visitors since opening in 2007, the O2 is an iconic venue and will be a fitting setting for such a big event. The event will also see the debut of the KPOP.FLEX Awards for Emerging Artists, taking place on Saturday 23rd September.
Steve Sayer, VP and GM at The O2, said: “In recent years, K-Pop has taken the world by storm and so this is a huge milestone for us. We can’t wait to build on the success of previous hugely popular K-Pop performances at the venue, and welcome some of the world’s top K-Pop acts and their legions of fans to The O2 for a fantastic weekend festival event that will take over the full campus at The O2.”
Founder and chairman of Live Company Group, Davis Ciclitira, said: “We’re delighted to be working with The O2 to deliver 3 incredible days celebrating K-pop to fans across the UK and beyond.
